I am a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. I focus on providing comprehensive psychoeducational and developmental assessments for children and adolescents to evaluate Learning Disabilities, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Intellectual Disability, and gifted status. I use a neuro-affirming approach that acknowledges both the challenges and the strengths related to the concerns that bring children, adolescents, and their families for an assessment. I believe that the assessment process is an opportunity for therapeutic change fostered by an increased understanding and acceptance of one’s unique experience. I provide a safe, identity-affirming, and inclusive environment for all individuals and families.
I hope to work together with children, youth, and families to empower them to successfully advocate for their needs in the home, school, and community.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology from the University of Guelph and completed my predoctoral residency at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). Over the course of my training, I gained experience providing psychological services to children, youth, and their families in hospitals, schools, university clinics, as well as community mental health and private practice settings.
